Automated Messages in Inbox

Overview

The Inbox View centralizes all campaign communications, giving you a complete picture of your interactions with creators. Automated system messages—such as application confirmations, negotiation updates, and deadline reminders—work alongside your team’s manual outreach to keep creators informed and campaigns on track.

Understanding the difference between automated and manual messages is critical for maintaining clarity, avoiding redundancy, and ensuring smooth creator experiences.

Automated vs. Manual

Always know if a message is automated or from a team member; this prevents double-messaging and keeps your outreach clear.

Identify Automated Messages

Within the inbox, messages are clearly marked so you can distinguish between system-generated messages and those sent by your team.

  • Automated Messages → Triggered by creator actions (e.g., applying to a campaign, accepting an offer, or uploading content).

  • Manual Messages → Written and sent by your team for personalized communication.

Check Message Status

Monitor creator engagement by reviewing message delivery indicators:

  • Delivered: Confirms the message successfully reached the creator.

  • Read: Shows the creator has opened the message.

These statuses give you immediate visibility into whether your outreach has been seen, allowing you to follow up strategically if needed.

Review Conversation History

Every message—manual or automated—is stored in the creator’s conversation thread. By opening their chat in the inbox, you can:

  • Review the full history of interactions across the campaign.

  • Understand what the creator has already been told.

  • Track their progress through the pipeline (application → negotiation → activation).

Best Practices

  • Leverage Automation: Let automated messages handle repetitive updates (like confirmations and reminders) so your team can focus on building relationships.

  • Avoid Duplication: Always check if an automated message has already covered a topic before sending a manual follow-up.

  • Add a Personal Touch: While automation saves time, creators value authenticity. Supplement automated updates with personalized notes when building relationships or clarifying details.

  • Respond Promptly: Automated messages keep campaigns moving, but your timely replies to creator questions are what build trust. Aim to respond within 24 hours.
