Filling Out Content Guideline Section

Overview

Establish specific criteria and instructions for influencer-generated content by defining Content Requirements. Outline detailed content guidelines, provide caption inspiration, and add custom questions to screen applicants and ensure campaign success.

Republish Required for Changes
If you make changes to your campaign after publishing, you must republish for those updates to take effect in recruitment and contract configurations moving forward. Updates will not retroactively apply to existing influencer agreements already in place.

Content Guidelines

Set Content Types

Define the specific content influencers must create by selecting from available content types. This action clearly communicates expectations for product reviews, unboxing videos, or experience shares, ensuring influencer content aligns with campaign goals.

Provide Caption Inspiration

Offer creative direction and examples for influencer captions by entering suggested captions, keywords, or examples of successful past content. This helps influencers maintain brand voice while creating authentic posts that resonate with their audience.

Authenticity First

Avoid over-restricting content. Influencers understand their audience best, which is key for authentic engagement.

Add Custom Questions

Gather specific information from applying influencers by creating custom questions. Define question titles and select question types to screen applicants based on unique campaign criteria, streamlining the recruitment process for highly specific campaigns.

Best Practices

  • Keep guidelines short, scannable, and easy to reference.

  • Focus on the most important 2–3 takeaways for content.

  • Encourage authenticity—audiences trust real voices, not scripted ads.

  • Aim for balance—clear enough to avoid confusion, but flexible enough to encourage creativity.

  • Creators can still participate, but without inspiration, content quality and consistency may vary.

  • No. It’s better to provide inspiration or key phrases. Forced scripts reduce authenticity and engagement.
