Filling Out Influencer Demographics Section

Overview

Define influencer recruitment criteria to source and recruit influencers that align with your campaign goals. Specify parameters such as follower ranges, engagement rates, and ideal profile characteristics to guide the system's search for campaign prospects.

Active Sourcing

Your demographic and preference settings guide the platform's recruitment technology to actively source new influencers based on your criteria. These settings are used to target Creators directly from social media, ensuring we find the best possible matches for each campaign on a campaign-by-campaign basis.

The more restrictive and refined your search criteria, the smaller your pool of potential candidates. Be practical—focus on the factors that truly matter for your campaign goals, and keep the rest flexible to maximize Creator applications.

Republish Required for Changes
If you make changes to your campaign after publishing, you must republish for those updates to take effect in recruitment and contract configurations moving forward. Updates will not retroactively apply to existing influencer agreements already in place.

Why It Matters

  • Influencer size directly impacts cost and reach.

  • Demographics (like age, gender, and location) align campaign outcomes with your ideal customer profile.

  • The clearer your targeting, the better your match rate and campaign performance.

Influencer Targeting

Set Follower Range

Target influencers within a specific follower count to meet your campaign's reach objectives. Specify the minimum and maximum follower counts in the 'Custom Range' fields under 'Level of Influencer to Target'.

Nano and micro Creators typically deliver higher engagement rates and are more cost-effective, while macro and mega Creators provide broader reach but at a higher cost. Always ensure your Payment section—which outlines compensation—aligns with the follower range and other criteria you set. Misalignment here can reduce applications and weaken campaign performance.

Set Engagement Rate

Filter for influencers whose content resonates effectively with their followers to ensure impactful campaigns. Enter the desired minimum engagement rate percentage in the 'Engagement Rate Minimum (%)' field.

When setting a minimum engagement rate threshold, avoid making it too high. A reasonable benchmark is 1–3% engagement for larger Creators and 3–6% for nano or micro Creators. Setting thresholds above these averages may eliminate strong candidates unnecessarily and shrink your Creator pool.

Specify Gender

Align your influencer recruitment with your target audience demographics. Select the desired gender specifications using the 'Genders' toggle or options to identify influencers whose gender identity matches your campaign's requirements.

Specify Race

Ensure your campaign's representation aligns with your brand values or marketing goals. Choose the required race distinctions from the 'Race (Optional)' dropdown menu to target influencers based on racial distinctions, if necessary for your campaign's message or audience.

Set Age Range

Recruit influencers whose age demographic best represents your product's user base or target market. Enter the minimum and maximum age for influencers in the 'Age Range' input fields to ensure their content is relevant to your desired audience.

Specify Location

Focus your campaign on influencers who can reach a specific geographic audience. Activate the 'Locations' toggle and enter the desired geographic areas (e.g., city, state, country) to geo-target and recruit influencers residing in particular states, cities, counties, or countries for local or regional campaigns.

Narrowing your location criteria to a very small city or region can drastically reduce your pool of eligible influencers. Unless your campaign absolutely requires hyper-local representation (such as a store opening or local event), consider widening your geographic range to avoid limiting applications.

Add Ideal Handles

Guide the system to find influencers who embody the style and audience of your preferred creators. Enter the social media handles of ideal influencers to recruit these creators and identify similar profiles, expanding your pool of relevant creators.

Add Blocklist Handles

Prevent the system from contacting or recruiting influencers unsuitable for your brand or campaign. Add the social media handles of influencers to exclude into the 'Add @handles' input field to focus outreach only on desired prospects.

Define Profile Preferences

Provide the AI with a detailed understanding of qualitative characteristics sought in an influencer. Describe your ideal influencer's profile, content style, or audience characteristics in the 'Influencer Profile Preferences' text input field. The system uses keywords, hashtags, and contextual cues from posts, bios, and captions to identify similar profiles.

Best Practices

  • Balance specificity with flexibility. Overly narrow filters may reduce applicants.

  • Start broad for your first campaign, then refine based on performance.

  • Always align Creator demographics with your actual target customers, not just brand preferences.

  • Not necessarily. Smaller Creators often deliver higher engagement and authenticity, especially for niche products.

  • No. Once live, demographics are locked. Use the Duplicate feature if you want to adjust criteria.

  • Our system searches Creator bios and content for your selected hashtags and keywords, increasing the chance of finding aligned matches.
