Overview
The Collaboration Page defines what you need from Creators. This section sets expectations, clarifies deliverables, and helps ensure the content you receive aligns with your goals. The clearer your collaboration requirements, the smoother your campaign will run.
Set realistic submission and posting deadlines.
Factor in shipping time if Creators are receiving products.
Example: Content submitted one week after receiving product, with posting due the following week.
Be generous with timelines. Rushed deadlines often lead to lower-quality content.
Republish Required for Changes
If you make changes to your campaign after publishing, you must republish for those updates to take effect in recruitment and contract configurations moving forward. Updates will not retroactively apply to existing influencer agreements already in place.
Collaboration Requirements
Enable Content Pre-Approval
Toggle on "Content Pre-Approval" to maintain brand consistency and quality control. This requires influencers to submit content drafts for your review and approval before posting, allowing you to request edits and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
Content Submission for Approval
You can choose whether Creators must submit their content for approval before posting.
If required: You’ll be able to review and approve content before it goes live.
If not required: Creators post directly once they meet your requirements.
Important: Adding approval to the process will significantly delay campaign activation and will typically result in fewer applicants.
Best Practice: Instead of requiring approvals, provide very clear direction in your collaboration requirements. This makes the process more frictionless for Creators, speeds up timelines, and generally leads to higher participation.
Set Content Submission Deadline
Select the required submission period to manage content delivery and campaign execution timelines. This sets a mandatory timeframe for influencers to submit content after selection. A shorter deadline accelerates content delivery but may increase partnership costs.
Define Timeline Requirements
Enter details in the "Timeline Description" text area to provide clear expectations for content submission and posting schedules.
Requirements Negotiable
You have the option to make your collaboration requirements flexible. If this setting is enabled, the content rights and the amount of content required can be negotiated directly between you and the Creator.
When to Use:
If you want to attract a wider range of Creators who may prefer customizing terms.
When working with higher-tier or specialized Creators who often negotiate deliverables.
If your campaign goal is more exploratory (e.g., testing formats, building relationships).
Best Practice:
Be clear upfront about which requirements are fixed and which are negotiable.
Use this option when flexibility helps you get better matches, but avoid it if consistency is critical across all content.
Pro Tip: Negotiable campaigns can increase interest from experienced Creators, but they may also lengthen the activation process. Make sure you’re prepared to spend extra time finalizing terms.
Negotiation Control
Keep the 'Requirements Negotiable' toggle OFF to prevent lengthy negotiations and maintain control over your terms.
Set Exclusivity Period
Select the desired exclusivity duration to secure exclusive rights to influencer content or services. This specifies the period influencers cannot promote competing brands or use the content for other purposes. Stricter exclusivity terms generally increase partnership costs.
Set Organic/ecom Usage
Select the desired usage duration to define your brand's rights to use influencer content on your organic and e-commerce channels. This determines the period your brand can feature content on social media handles, websites, or product pages without additional paid promotion.
Set Paid Usage Terms
Select the desired paid usage duration to establish terms for using influencer content in paid advertising. This specifies how long your brand can utilize content for paid promotions. Longer paid usage terms typically increase partnership costs.
Set Content Allowlisting
Select the desired allowlisting duration to control how long your brand can host and display influencer content on its owned channels. This defines the period your brand can feature content on its social media profiles or other platforms.
Set Tracking Tags
Enter required hashtags for influencers to use in their posts to accurately monitor and attribute content performance and engagement. The platform tracks and reports on content associated with your campaign by identifying posts with these specific hashtags.
Set Bio Link
Specify the link influencers should use in their social media biography to direct their audiences to a specific destination, such as your product page or website. This facilitates direct traffic from their profiles.
You can ask Creators to include your brand’s link in their bio, but this should be used sparingly.
Important:
There are limited spaces where Creators can place links (often only one link in bio on platforms like Instagram, TikTok or YouTube).
Because of this limitation, requiring a bio link typically drives up the cost of the collaboration.
Best Practice:
Only request a bio link if it’s essential to your campaign goal (e.g., app downloads, sign-ups, or a product launch landing page).
Consider alternatives like link stickers in Stories or tagged shopping links, which are easier for Creators to accommodate without affecting their profile setup.
Pro Tip: Save bio link requests for short-term, high-impact campaigns where directing traffic to a single link is critical. For always-on campaigns, use lighter requirements to keep costs down and applications higher.
Select Social Platforms
Select relevant social media platforms where influencers must publish content to ensure your message reaches the intended audience on those channels.
Select the platform(s) relevant to your campaign.
Match the channel to your audience and campaign goal.
Example: Choose Instagram for lifestyle photos; TikTok for short, viral-style videos.
Set Post Type
Select the desired post type and specify the number of posts, story links, and accounts to tag to define the format and quantity of content influencers must create. This includes the exact type of posts (e.g., Reel, Static Post, Carousel Post) and the number of each, along with any specific tags or links for stories.
Specify how many posts you expect.
Allow flexibility in content type (photo, video, carousel).
Example: 1 in-feed post in photo or video format.
Best Practice: Encourage video content—audiences engage more with dynamic formats.
Set Story Quantity & Link
Stories are a quick and effective way to generate awareness and engagement. In this section, you’ll define how many Stories Creators should post and whether they must include a link.
How to Configure:
Story Quantity: Enter the number of Stories required for your campaign.
Link Requirement: Choose whether Creators must add a swipe-up link or link sticker to direct followers to your website, product page, or landing page.
Best Practice:
Keep requirements realistic—1 to 2 Stories is often enough to support a campaign without overwhelming Creators.
If including a link, ensure the landing page is mobile-friendly and loads quickly. A poor experience will lower conversion rates.
Pro Tip:
Stories are highly engaging but disappear within 24 hours. Consider combining them with in-feed content for a mix of immediate buzz and longer-term visibility.
What Account(s) Should the Influencer Tag?
Tags are how you make sure your brand is credited and easily discoverable in Creator content. This section tells Creators exactly which accounts to tag in their posts and Stories.
How to Configure:
Enter the handle(s) of your brand’s social accounts (e.g., @YourBrand).
Include any partner or campaign-specific accounts you want mentioned.
Keep the list short and focused—too many tags can clutter a post and reduce authenticity.
Best Practice:
Always include your main brand account so you’re notified and can reshare the content.
Use one campaign hashtag in addition to tags for easier tracking.
Double-check that your handles are correct—mistyped tags are a common mistake and can cost visibility.
Pro Tip:
Limit tags to one or two accounts. Posts that look overloaded with tags may feel less organic to audiences, which can lower engagement.
Creators may decline to apply, or the quality of content may drop. Build in time for shipping, creation, and edits.
Not always. Use it when brand safety is critical. Otherwise, letting Creators post directly often speeds up campaigns.
Limit to what’s essential. Too many can make posts look inauthentic and discourage Creators.
