Overview
Incentivize influencers for campaign participation by defining your compensation structure. You can offer monetary payments, provide products or services, or set up conversion tracking with commissions to reward creators based on campaign objectives.
This section is critical to ensuring your campaign attracts the level of Creator interest you expect. There must be full alignment between what you are asking Creators to deliver, the Creators we are targeting, and how you are compensating them. If the effort outweighs the reward, applications will drop, and campaign performance will suffer.
Automated Payments
Payments are released once platform verifies that Creators have completed the required deliverables. As a brand, you will have seven days to review and refute a Creator’s completion before funds are disbursed.
Define Payment Structure
Provide Payment
Offer monetary compensation to influencers to ensure they are paid for completing campaign requirements. You can set a fixed fee or allow influencers to propose their own rates.
Allowing Creators to suggest their own rate will typically result in a much larger quantity of applicants. This flexibility makes your campaign more attractive across a wider range of influencers.
Select Payment Offer Type
Determine the payment model for your campaign by choosing how influencers are compensated. Select a fixed amount for all influencers or allow them to suggest their rates to attract a broader range of creators.
When you allow Creators to suggest their own rate, you also gain the ability to negotiate after they apply. This ensures you can come to a fair agreement that balances your budget with the Creator’s expectations.
Set Cash Rate
Establish a specific monetary value for influencer compensation by entering a cash rate. This defines the exact payment amount influencers will receive for their participation. There will be no room for negotiation.
When you establish a specific monetary value for Creator compensation by entering a fixed cash rate, this defines the exact payment amount influencers will receive—there is no room for negotiation. To ensure you are offering the right incentive, you should refine your follower ranges in the Demographics section. Proper alignment between payment and audience size is critical to attracting qualified Creators.
Allow Influencers to Suggest a Rate
Enable influencers to propose their desired compensation by selecting this option. This broadens your pool of potential creators by allowing them to suggest their own rates.
Open Up Rates
Attract a wider range of creators by letting influencers suggest their rates and provide a starting bid. Fixed rates can limit your applicant pool.
Set Starting Bid
Provide a baseline for influencer rate negotiations by entering a starting bid. This guides influencers in their rate proposals while maintaining control over campaign costs.
Configure Service or Product Incentives
Provide Products, Services or Apps
Offer non-monetary incentives like products or services to influencers. This allows them to engage with your offerings directly, leading to more genuine content.
Select Service Options
Control how influencers receive products or services by choosing their selection method. Tailor the incentive to your campaign needs with options like a single item for all, selection from multiple items, or a variety package.
Add Product or Service Details
Clearly communicate the value and nature of the incentive by entering the name, URL, cash value, and an optional description for each service or app. This provides influencers with comprehensive information.
Set Up Conversion Tracking
Enable Conversion Tracking
Monitor the performance of influencer-driven sales or conversions by activating conversion tracking and commission. This provides insights into campaign effectiveness and helps assess ROI.
Select Affiliate Program
Integrate with your existing affiliate marketing platform by selecting your program from the list or choosing 'Other'. This connects your campaign to your established tracking system for managing influencer commissions.
Provide Affiliate URL
Ensure influencers can easily generate their affiliate links or coupon codes by pasting the URL where they will sign up. This streamlines the process for them to start promoting your products.
Add Affiliate Instructions
Provide clear guidance for influencers on setting up and using their affiliate links. This minimizes confusion and ensures correct tracking implementation for smooth integration.
No Affiliate System But Want to Track Conversions
If you don’t currently have an affiliate system in place, you can still track performance by manually creating Shopify discount codes, Google-tracked URLs, or anything similar.
You’ll control the level of detail for tracking influencer performance by choosing one of two options:
Unique Codes/URLs per Creator: Allows you to measure the performance of each individual Creator. Best for detailed insights and performance-based evaluation.
Single Code/URL for the Entire Campaign: Easier to manage but only provides campaign-level results, not Creator-by-Creator breakdowns.
When you select Creators to partner with, you will be prompted to provide each one with their coupon code or tracking URL. These can be updated at any time in the Management section of the platform.
Add Additional Details
Communicate specific requirements or expectations to influencers by adding any necessary instructions or obligations, such as a mandatory product purchase. This clarifies expectations upfront.
Best Practices
Align payment with Creator size and demographics (nano/micro = lower cash or gifting; macro/mega = higher cash expectations).
Underpaying leads to fewer applicants and lower-quality content.
Consider testing multiple incentive models (cash vs. gifting) to see what drives the best ROI.
Yes. Many brands combine product gifting with a flat fee or commission for stronger engagement.
The platform tracks Creator deliverables and releases payment once requirements are met.
