partnrUP uses an escrow-based payment process to manage creator compensation for paid campaigns. Brands fund their escrow balance, configure campaign payment and product options, select creators, and creators complete the required campaign activities before payment is processed.
Payment Process Overview
The creator payment process follows these steps:
1. Fund Your Escrow Balance
Add sufficient funds to your escrow balance before selecting creators for a paid campaign.
You can manage your escrow balance from Payments in the left navigation menu. The Escrow Payment Management page shows your current balance, pending expenses, and the amount available for new campaigns.
Important: You must have sufficient escrow funds before selecting creators. Funds are reserved when creators are selected, not when the campaign is launched.
2. Set Up Creator Payments and Product Fulfillment
Configure the campaign's payment and product fulfillment options in the Campaign Builder.
Depending on the campaign, brands can choose how creators receive or purchase the required product.
Available product fulfillment options include:
Ship the product to creators
Creators purchase the product themselves and are reimbursed
Creators purchase the product and are compensated as part of their agreed payment
Provide the product at an in-person location
Provide a promo code for the product
Provide a gift card for the product
3. Select Creators
Once sufficient funds are available, select creators for the campaign.
The agreed creator compensation is reserved from the available escrow balance when the creator is selected.
4. Creators Complete Campaign Requirements
Creators must complete all required campaign requirements and deliverables outlined in the campaign.
This may include submitting content, completing product-related requirements, or completing other campaign-specific requirements.
Important: Creator payments cannot be split into multiple milestones or paid partially upfront. Payment is processed according to the campaign's payment terms after the required campaign requirements have been completed.
5. Complete the Review Period
After the creator completes the required campaign requirements, the applicable 7-day review period begins.
During this period, the campaign can be reviewed and any applicable disputes can be addressed.
6. Process Creator Payment
After the applicable 7-day review period is completed, payment is processed from the escrow funds according to the campaign's payment terms.
7. Creator Payment
Creator payments are subject to 30-day Net terms. Once the applicable review period has been completed and payment has been processed, the creator is paid according to the applicable payment terms.

Approved product reimbursement is paid together with the creator's cash compensation after the campaign requirements have been completed.
