The Creator Directory allows you to store and manage profiles for all creators you're engaged with or tracking within partnrUP. You can add individual creator profiles or import multiple creators at once. This ensures your creator network is comprehensive and up-to-date.
Add Creators to Your Directory
Access Creator Directory
To begin adding creators or viewing your existing network, navigate to Creators > Directory in the main left navigation menu. This action opens your complete list of creators.
Initiate Creator Addition
To access options for adding new creators, click Add Creators in the top right corner of the Creator Directory page. This opens a modal for selecting how you will add creators.
Add Creators One At a Time
Simply type in the following creator details:
Name
Email
Instagram Handle
TikTok Handle
YouTube Handle
You must include at least one social platform handle.
Click "Add creator"
Import Creator Data from a File
Choose Bulk Upload
To add a large number of creators efficiently, select Bulk upload within the "Add a creator" modal. This prepares the system to import multiple creator profiles from a file.
Upload Your Creator File
To provide creator data for bulk import, click Upload a file in the "Import creators" modal and select your CSV, XLSX, or PDF file. This uploads the file containing creator information, such as names, emails, and social media handles, to the platform. Ensure your file is less than 5 MB (approximately 5,000 creator records).
Process Uploaded File
To allow the system to extract creator data from your uploaded file, click Read & Map. This action initiates the platform's processing of the file content to identify individual creator records.
Review Data Preview
To confirm the system correctly interpreted your file's data before import, review the displayed list of creators and their mapped fields. This preview shows the creators to be imported, including their names, handles, and emails, and highlights any missing information. The system automatically maps standard fields like Creator Full Name, Instagram Handle, TikTok Handle, YouTube Channel, Email, and Notes.
Manage Existing Creator Data
To control how the system handles creators who may already exist in your directory, choose to Link & Update their existing profile, Add Anyway as a new entry, or Skip them. This selection determines whether to update existing creator profiles, add duplicates, or ignore creators already present.
Optimize Your Creator Network
Link & update → finds the existing creator entry, links it, and fills in any gaps from your uploaded row (notes, custom fields, and any blank handle/email/name). It never overwrites fields the entry already has. It does not create a second record.
Skip → does nothing with that row.
Finalize Data Import
To complete the data import after reviewing and resolving any conflicts, click Continue. This action proceeds with adding all new creators and updating existing ones according to your specified choices.
Examine Import Summary
To understand the outcome of the bulk import process, review the summary presented in the "Import creators" modal. This report details how many new creators were added, how many existing creators were updated, and identifies any creators that encountered errors or were skipped.
Complete the Import Process
To exit the import workflow and return to your Creator Directory, click Done. This dismisses the import summary and allows you to view your updated creator list.
