Respond to Creator Inquiries

Overview

This article provides guidance on addressing common creator questions during marketing campaigns. Use these procedures to resolve inquiries efficiently and ensure seamless creator collaborations.

Payment Inquiries

Confirm Payment Requirements

Ensure creators understand payment prerequisites by verifying all contractual requirements are met. Payment processing begins once the creator has fulfilled all campaign requirements and their submission has been successfully tracked by the platform. Missing campaign requirements are a common reason for payment delays.

Verify Content Submission Status

Confirm the campaign status shows as 'Complete' to verify the platform has tracked the creator's content. Investigate further if the status is not 'Complete'.

Identify Missing Campaign Elements

Determine specific reasons for payment delays by checking for missing required hashtags, account tags, or incorrect posting formats. Examine the creator's post for missing hashtags or incorrect account tags. Confirm content was published in the correct format, such as an in-feed Reel shared to the Instagram feed.

Instruct Creator on Content Updates

Guide creators to update their content with missing elements to rectify issues and expedite payment. Instruct creators to add missing hashtags or tags, or to correct the posting format. For Stories, reshare may be necessary. Updated content allows the platform to track the submission and proceed with payment.

Content Review

Access Creator Submissions

Locate and open a creator's submitted content to view submissions for review. Navigate to the "Influencers" tab, find the specific creator, and select "Review Content" to open their submission.

Evaluate Submitted Content

Examine the creator's submitted content to evaluate its quality and adherence to campaign guidelines. Review the content displayed within the content review module.

Provide Content Feedback

Send direct feedback to the creator about their submission to communicate necessary changes or approval. Enter feedback directly into the content review module. This feedback is sent to the creator, enabling them to make revisions or confirm approval. We recommend providing feedback within 24 hours to avoid delays.

Shipment Status

Check Shipment Status

Ascertain if a product has shipped or is awaiting shipment to determine the current state of a product shipment. Use your internal brand tools to check the product's shipping status.

Share Shipping Date

Provide the expected date a product will ship to manage creator expectations for product arrival. If the product has not yet shipped, communicate the anticipated shipping date to the creator.

Provide Tracking Information

Provide creators the tracking details for their shipped product to allow them to monitor delivery progress. If the product has already shipped, provide or resend the tracking information to the creator. This helps them plan content creation around the delivery.

Add Personalized Discount Code.

Add Code to Creator Profile

Display the discount code in the creator's profile to make it easily accessible for the creator. Add the creator's personalized code to their creator pop-out window. This allows them to quickly find the information.

Collaboration Terms

Review Campaign Brief

Examine the campaign brief for specific details to understand the initial requirements and terms set for a campaign. Refer to the campaign brief created in the Campaign Builder to confirm any specified exclusivity requirements.

Consult Signed Agreement

Access the creator's signed contract to verify the legally binding terms of a creator's collaboration. Direct creators to their signed contract to review the specific terms of their collaboration, including exclusivity and content ownership.

Explain Exclusivity Requirements

Communicate whether exclusivity terms apply to their campaign to inform creators about restrictions on working with other brands. If exclusivity was included in the Campaign Builder, direct the creator to those details. If no exclusivity requirements were specified in the campaign brief or signed agreement, there are no additional exclusivity requirements.

Clarify Content Rights

Explain the terms of content ownership and usage rights to define who owns and can use the content created. Refer to the creator's signed agreement and the applicable content usage rights provisions to confirm the rights granted to your brand. Review the signed agreement before confirming terms if creators have questions about ownership, licensing, or usage.

  • This may happen if the creator hasn't included the required campaign hashtags, tagged the correct brand account, or published content in the required format. Review their submission and ask them to correct any missing requirements.

  • We recommend reviewing creator submissions and providing feedback within 24 hours to avoid delays in campaign completion.
